Community Coming Together
The project has been a great success with 9 different volunteers taking part in our intergenerational skills sharing project which has been crucial for forming positive relationships between differing generations.
The project has focussed on skill-sharing taking place between our young people and members of the community, leading to greater awareness and forming positive relationships - which has been taking place on a weekly basis since August - with many people from all walks of life coming in to lend a hand with lots of skills including Henna art, cooking, crocheting, admin and crafting.

The project has also allowed us to fit new boilers, radiators and windows to improve our warm spaces within the Centre as well as showcase our rooms which are available for hire for the local community, featuring our Community Cafe room with the aim of raising awareness of the Centre and its activities which are also beneficial to the community as a whole. This has led to a large increase in organisations using our community cafe space to book rooms for activities and training sessions for the wider community to participate in.
